How much mulch do I need?

A typical recommendation is 2-3 inches of mulch depth. To estimate the amount:

  • 1 cubic yard covers:
    • 100 sq. ft. at 3 inches deep
    • 150 sq. ft. at 2 inches deep

What types of mulch do you offer? 

We offer many varieties of mulch.

How often should mulch be replaced?

Mulch should be refreshed once a year, typically in the Spring or Fall. Dyed mulch may need touch-ups for color retention.

  • Our trucks will deliver mulch to your specified location, but drivers will not spread mulch.
  • We require a clear and accessible drop-off location (driveway, curbside, etc.).
  • Deliveries CANNOT leave the hard surface
  • If delivery is not possible due to obstacles (e.g., cars, fences, mud), we may need to reschedule or charge a relocation fee.

2. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure the drop-off area is accessible.
  • Provide clear instructions when placing an order.

3. All Sales are Final 

  • All sales are final—no returns or refunds.

What does 1 yard of mulch look like? 

One cubic yard of mulch is a pile approximately 3 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 3 feet high (3’ x 3’ x 3’).
