1. Prep the Lawn: Give your grass a quick trim a day or two before you apply.
2. Dampen, Don’t Drench: Apply on a morning when there’s heavy dew, or give the lawn a light sprinkle with the hose or sprinkle. The granules need to stick to the weed leaves to work their magic.
3. Load Up: Fill up your Scotts spreader and dial in the right setting.
4. Get Spreading: Walk at a steady pace and make even passes across your lawn.
5. Clean Sweep: Use a broom or leaf blower to get any stray granules off your driveway and sidewalk and back onto the grass where they belong.
